AFR testimonials at the August 29th graduation were short and sweet. In all, four graduates spoke in front of peers, thanking those within the program that helped them succeed.

Jamie:
“When I got here, the lights were on, but nobody was home. I had secretly wanted to die for a really long time and obviously the good Lord seen different.”
“Today, I can truly say that I’m going to go home and spend time with my family and it won’t just be time, it will be quality time.”
“My wife will get the man she married back – she (hasn’t) seen him in a long time.”
Madison:
“All the friends I’ve made here – I’ll never forget you all. It’s been a really good experience.
“Mostly, I just want to thank my mom for coming all the way from Georgia to support me. She’s amazing. I wouldn’t be here without you, so thank you for everything.”
Miguel:
“AFR family – I love you all. If I could give a shoutout to Ritchie, Tyler, Jeremy, Steph, Angela and April – I love you guys, man. I’ll never forget you guys, ever.
“I’d also like to thank (Executive Director Pam Anderson). You have a great program. I know you guys get a lot and you take a heavy load. I appreciate you guys.
“All you guys got to do is follow the rules and (the staff is) good people, they really are. That’s it, it’s easy.”
